Romans 4:19-21

19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:

20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

·         They believed God’s promises to be true, because they believed He was a True God, faithful to His word! Abraham learned one of the secrets of unshakable faith. Romans 4:21 tells us he became fully persuaded/convinced that God was able to do what He had promised.

·         Until we become fully persuaded, we will waver. When we waver, we cannot take hold of those promises which have been freely given to us through Jesus. We must do whatever it takes to keep our focus on the promises of God, and whatever it takes to keep the promise before you. You will then become convinced of what is true. When you habitually place these words in your heart.

·         Vs 19- When you face Deadness- Sarah’s Womb was Dead had been dead for years, 90 years of dead promises. At the time the Promise was given SHE did not believe. She rested on (1Peter 3:6) her man of God when she didn’t believe. That resting on Abraham caused her to not give way to fear.

·         Vs 20-When Dark nights and long days approach, you must have full persuasion.

·         Don’t back down but stand strong in God’s perfect peace.

·         Faith that does not waiver isn’t loud—it’s steady.

·         It may tremble, but it won’t topple. It may question, but it never quits.

This kind of faith is forged—not in comfort—but in the fire of pruning, pressing, and waiting. True faith is not the absence of storms, but the refusal to let the storm steal your belief.

Prayer

Lord, when everything around me shifts, anchor me in Your truth. When my feelings waver, help me remember Your promises never do. Grow in me the kind of faith that endures storms, outlasts pruning, and holds tight until the harvest comes.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Blessings,
